About the Therapist
Telma is a registered mental health counselor intern in the state of Florida. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. She completed her Masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. Telma also completed her internship at Henderson Behavioral Health in Fort Lauderdale where she worked with adults with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. She has experience working with both children and adults, ranging from topics such as depression, anxiety, grief, the LGBTQ+ community, skill development and more.
